Crane Safety Program
The Crane Safety Plan describes in detail the steps necessary for keeping the workplace safe while using cranes. It also lists the people on the project responsible for carrying out these safety precautions.
Crane Safety
The Crane Safety Plan requires the name of the SSHO. Any resume or certification of the SSHO that is uploaded will be added to the document appropriately. See Upload Qualifications for more information. If the employee assigned to the project isn’t found in the given list, you can Add New Employee to fill the spot. If the project requires a critical lift, check the appropriate box. A critical lift is either 1. A lift that requires 75 percent or more of the crane’s rated capacity or 2. A lift that requires 2 cranes. If “Project Requires Critical Lift” is checked, a Critical Lift Plan will also be generated and available to download.
